The mission of the guild is to provide education and experiences to develop talent in people of all ages.In addition to regular performances on the MTG stage, performers and artists are invited to join the MTG Cabaret Players.Housed in a restored railroad depot (years ago the freight room was often filled with Green County cheese awaiting rail tranport to areas all over the United States); the center features cheesemaking equipment, dairy farming heritage, cheese factory replicas, railroad memorabilia, and local history.Excellent 10-minute audio tour gives an overview of the museum displays; docents are also available for personalized tours and questions.Nestled between the vineyard's hills is a small pond with a windmill where a pair of Red Tail Hawks frequently perch - thus the name for the winery - which is located southeast of Cadiz Springs Recreation Area.A popular time to visit is late May and early June when the calves are being born.
We will use approximately 1,800 dozen eggs, 1,300 pounds of sausage, 5,000 half-pints of milk, 126 gallons of ice cream mix, 3,500 cartons of orange juice, 200 coffee cakes, 13 lugs of fresh strawberries, 110 pounds of butter, 480 pounds of cheese, and 26 jars of coffee. Traditional country fair with youth exhibitors (4-H, FFA), judging, ag education, livestock and small animal auctions, and tractor pulls. Reds, whites, and fruit wines - everything from dry to sweet.
MAC also hosts a Wisconsin Regional Arts Program, a photography contest, and the popular MAC Radio Live-Showcase of Talent.
Monroe Theatre Guild has been providing outstanding theatre and performing arts to the community since 1970.
Monroe Arts Center (MAC) is known for their performing arts series and their gallery exhibits.
As part of their outreach to area students, MAC arranges for artists to perform at area schools.
